Patti Otman is a fraud professional with over 26 years of experience in the financial services industry.  Ms. Otman is the Senior Vice President and Director of Enterprise Fraud Management at Comerica Bank.  Ms. Otman has overall responsibility for the strategic vision, and development and execution of the corporation’s fraud program.

The Enterprise Fraud area provides corporate and nationwide services including fraud detection and prevention, fraud investigation, and fraud risk evaluation and consultation

Throughout Patti‘s career with Comerica, she has held several leadership positions within the fraud area. During her tenure she has overseen and been engaged with the successful implementation of numerous anti-fraud technologies, including those focused on card, check, wire, ACH, and instant payments fraud detection, as well as enterprise alert and case management.

Juan is responsible for Comerica Bank’s enterprise-wide Security program, inclusive of Information and Cyber Security, Corporate Security and Corporate Continuity and Recovery Management, overseeing the bank’s security-related policies, strategy, architecture, defense, resilience, operations, and security awareness. Juan has over 25 years in the financial services industry, complemented by previous experience in healthcare, insurance, and government both domestically and internationally.

 Prior to joining Comerica as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Juan served as CISO at various global financial organizations. His career has focused on strategic risk management frameworks, including risk rating methodologies, threat assessments, regulatory engagements, and management governance and reporting. Juan holds a M.S and B.A. in Computer Science from Sacred Heart University.

Ryan Shea is a fraud professional with over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Shea is Vice President and Sr. Card Fraud Manager in the Enterprise Fraud Department. In this role, Ryan manages card fraud prevention and error resolution for the Retail Consumer and Small Business Debit, Commercial and HELOC card products.

Ryan joined Comerica in 2005 as a Card Fraud Investigator. Since then, he has held several positions, including Financial Analysis and Reporting Officer, Check Fraud Prevention Team Leader, and Digital Banking Fraud Manager.

Ryan earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Grand Valley State University.

Carl Saiyed is Senior Vice President and Business Information Security Officer at Comerica Bank, where he plays a key leadership role within the bank’s cybersecurity organization. Carl is responsible for driving cybersecurity strategy and execution across data protection, offensive security, technical risk assessment, cybersecurity architecture, and the Business Information Security Office (BISO).

With over 20 years of experience in cybersecurity and technology, Carl has led enterprise-scale initiatives that have enhanced security posture and supported secure business operations across the financial services sector. His work focuses on aligning cybersecurity capabilities with business priorities in complex, regulated environments.

He is a published cybersecurity author, a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). Carl holds a master’s degree in cybersecurity.

Jordan Riek is a seasoned technology and cybersecurity executive with extensive experience in leading large-scale transformations in global enterprises and financial institutions. As SVP, Deputy Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Comerica Bank, he oversees teams covering cyber engineering, data loss prevention, security architecture, third-party security, and other functions.

Jordan has driven initiatives like AI-driven security frameworks and secure cloud infrastructures, enhancing agility and operational resilience. His prior roles at NCR, Cardtronics, and Bank of America highlight his expertise in managing technology infrastructures and implementing large-scale changes.

Jordan excels in bridging the gap between technology and business, ensuring alignment and regulatory compliance. A Texas A&M graduate, he is committed to fostering high-performing teams and continuous improvement.

Jason Harrell is the owner of JAH Secure Solutions, LLC, which provides advisory and consultancy services for cyber, operational resilience, and new/emerging technology.  Over the last 25 years, Jason has worked across the financial services sector developing cyber and resilience services for systemically important financial institutions. As a distinguished executive in risk, resilience and technology, Jason has partnered with global financial authorities, standards bodies, government agencies and trade associations to develop policy solutions to challenges within the financial sector. 

As a thought leader, Jason authors position papers, articles, and comment letters, to advance cyber and resilience public policy.  As an industry leader, Jason has held positions on several trade association boards and committees including the Cyber Risk Institute (CRI), Financial Service Sector Coordinating Council (FSSCC), and Sheltered Harbor.
